MAC Federal Credit Union awards free Jeep to an unsuspecting winner

Fairbanks, AK — MAC Federal Credit Union gave away its iconic mascot, a Jeep Rubicon, in a membership giveaway contest.

MAC Federal Credit Union recently held a Jeep giveaway contest as a way to build excitement around its grand opening of a new branch in Wasilla, Alaska. Current and new members alike were eligible to enter from June 2021 through January 2022.

With over 10,000 entries received online and in person at any of its branches, MAC Federal Credit Union selected one lucky winner at random: one Quinton Sanderson.

Unbeknownst to him, Sanderson’s full-service membership qualified him to be automatically entered into the drawing and was shocked to learn he won a Jeep he didn’t even sign up for.

Sanderson was understandably shocked—though undeniably excited—to win the fully loaded jeep. “I feel like a winner,” Sanderson laughed. "I'd also like to thank MAC Federal Credit Union, I mean, they've been great to me. I've been a member for a long, long time and I really appreciate MAC Federal Credit Union, I do.” Stated Sanderson.
